RHD Services provides subsurface utility information using radio frequency locating, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), video pipe inspection, vacuum excavation, and our engineering experience. Our goal is to provide reliable underground utility information for the engineer, owner and contractor so that informed decisions can be made during the design and construction process.
RHD Utility Locating began in 1990 and is one of the largest private utility locating companies in Georgia. The company operates throughout the southeastern United States. RHD has been promoting Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) by providing speakers to various trade groups, engineering companies, or other groups who are interested in damage prevention. Our employees receive regular training from equipment manufactures and other industry representatives. We participate in an annual Locate Rodeo competition (http://locaterodeo.com/). Underground Utility Locating Technician
RHD Services is a private underground utility locating company in Atlanta. We provide quality service to Engineers, Architects, Industrial, Construction and others. Our technicians work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects that will enable you to become the best in your field. We are currently looking to add another experienced underground utility locating technician to our team.
We are looking for:
· Minimum 5-years utility locating experience locating a wide variety of utilities
· Excellent communication skills: report writing, drawing, and computer skills
· Valid motor vehicle license with an acceptable driving record
· Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) experience is preferred
· Sanitary sewer & storm pipe locating experience is helpful
· Current industry references
· We are a Drug Free work place
· We require a background check for work in high security areas
· Must be honest, responsible, prompt, and self-motivated
